Having established herself as a backing and co-vocalist for Maltese alternative band Brikkuni and many others, 2020 became the year that Kym Pepe would pursue a different path and take the centre stage for the first time.

Ringing in fellow Brikkuni confidants Jimmy Bartolo & Oliver Degabriele, the trio's chemistry swiftly arranged Kym's demos into eclectic, synth layered indie tracks which when paired with the singer's unique timbre, added a whole new dimension to Maltese sung music.

Kun' is the first instalment in Kym's journey as a solo artist and though it being her debut, it has quickly garnered attention as one of the freshest sounds that the Maltese alternative community has to offer.
